Thanks to Those Who Help Me

 I have met some wonderful people who go out of their way to help me. People who treat me like a normal person and look me in the eye and ask me how I am and mean it. People who know me in the local shops and make room for my scooter and bring things to me when I ask and put the bags in my shopping bag attached to the scooter, then happily help me back out while I’m sure they must be wondering if I am going to knock something over.

Then there are the delivery people from the post office and the freight companies who make a special trip up to the back of the house and deliver things to my studio if I am there or the back room where I have level access. They often make time for a quick chat. These are often the only other people I see apart from my husband from one day to the next, I wonder if they realize how much they add value to my life.

The list goes on and includes my wonderful home help lady whose cheerful disposition  brings good energy into the house whenever she visits. Our neighbours who care about how I am and are there if I need them, and the neighboring family who visit a couple of times a year to tidy up the garden. It all makes a huge difference.

The wonderful nursing staff at Geelong Private Hospital and more recently at the new Epworth Hospital Geelong, The physiotherapist and occupational therapist at this hospital who understand CRPS and work with me to achieve the best outcomes within my capabilities.
And of course the wonderful doctors I have been fortunate enough to have found. I have the best possible support team, it took years to arrive at this point but I have done it!
